Externships
We accept veterinary students for externships all year round. To apply we need a letter of intent requesting an externship and a resume emailed to Dr. Phil van Harreveld. Please include the dates you would like to spend with us. We have facilities (bedroom, kitchen, television) to comfortably accommodate externs at the clinic. We encourage veterinary students to apply so that we can expose them to a quality learning experience through our case load and the qualifications of our veterinarians. During the winter period the case load slows down but during the spring, summer and fall we are quite busy. We offer a nice combination of in house medical and surgical cases in addition to a busy field service case load. Late spring and summer also provide a good opportunity to follow reproductive cases. Internships
We offer internship positions every year. We post the information on the AAEP web site. We have one positions available for the 2012/2013 year. Applicants must be a graduate from an AVMA accredited Veterinary School. More information about the internship is available on our AAEP avenues - internship page.
